our privacy policy commitment in respect of personal information we hold about you and what we

We recognise that any personal information we collect about you will only be used for the
purposes we have collected it or as allowed under the law. It is important to us that you are
confident that any personal information we hold about you will be treated in a way which ensures
protection of your personal information.
Our commitment in respect of personal information is to abide by the Australian Privacy
Principles for the protection of personal information, as set out in the Privacy Act and any

Credit information is information which is used to assess your eligibility to be provided with
finance and may include any finance that you have outstanding, your repayment history in respect
of those loans, and any defaults. Usually, credit information is exchanged between credit and
finance providers and credit reporting bodies.
The kinds of personal information we may collect about you include your name, date of birth,
address, account details, occupation, and any other information we made need to identify you. If
you are applying for finance we may also collect the ages and number of your dependants and
cohabitants, the length of time at your current address, your employment details and proof of
earnings and expenses.
If you apply for any insurance product through us we may also collect your health information.
We will only collect health information from you with your consent.
Why we collect your personal information
We collect personal information for the purposes of assessing your application for finance and
managing that finance. We may also collect your personal information for the purposes of
marketing and managing our relationship with you. From time to time we may offer you other
products and services.
To enable us to maintain a successful business relationship with you, we may disclose your
personal information to other organisations that provide products or services used or marketed
by us. We may also disclose your personal information to any other organisation that may have or
is considering having an interest in your finance, or in our business.
How do we collect your personal information?
Where reasonable and practical we will collect your personal information directly from you. We
may also collect your personal information from finance brokers and other people such as
accountants and lawyers.
Do we disclose your personal information?
We may disclose your personal information:
- to prospective funders or other intermediaries in relation to your finance requirements;
- to other organisations that are involved in managing or administering your finance such as
third-party suppliers, printing and postal services, call centres;
- to associated businesses that may want to market products to you;
- a third-party finance company or broker that we may sell your online lead enquiry to from
time to time.
- to companies that provide information and infrastructure systems to us;
- to anybody who represents you, such as finance brokers, lawyers and accountants;
- to anyone, where you have provided us consent;
- where we are required to do so by law, such as under the Anti-Money or Laundering and
Courter Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth);
- to investors, agents or advisers, or any entity that has an interest in our business; or
- to your employer, referees or identity verification services.
Prior to disclosing any of your personal information to another person or organisation, we
will take all reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that:
the person or organisation has a commitment to protecting your personal information at least
equal to our commitment, or you have consented to us making the disclosure.
We may use cloud storage to store the personal information we hold about you. The cloud storage
and the IT servers may be located outside Australia. We may disclose your personal information
to overseas entities that provide support functions to us. You may obtain more information about
these entities by contacting us.
Disclosure By Law
You acknowledge and agree that we may disclose information you provide if required to do so by
law, at the request of a third party, or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure
is reasonable to (1) comply with the law, requests or orders from law enforcement, or any legal
process (whether or not such disclosure is required by applicable law) and (2) protect or defend
Your Yes Home Loans Group, or a third party's, rights or property.
Disclosure to Trusted Third Parties By Us: Upon completing a profile for a loans on the site, we
will share your information with potential lenders and brokers with whom you are matched. By
accepting the Terms of Use of our website, you agree to receive various marketing materials from
our trusted third parties, including potential lenders and service providers. We are not
responsible for the material of the third parties or their actions. Your information may also be
shared with third-party contractors that provide services to Your Yes Home Loans Group and are
bound by this privacy policy. Your information will be treated as private and confidential by
such third parties and not used for any other purpose than we authorize. In addition, from time
to time, we may share personal information (such as e-mail or mailing address) about our user
base with carefully selected third parties, so they can offer goods and services that we believe
may be of interest to our users.
If you do not wish to receive offers from our trusted partners, you can change your e-mail
preferences at any time by following the steps in this marketing to unsubscribe or
Choice/Opt-Out.
By disclosing your information to us through signing up on the Site and agreeing to the Terms,

Do we disclose your personal information to anyone outside Australia?
We may disclose personal information to our related bodies corporate and third-party suppliers
and service providers located overseas for some of the purposes listed above.

about finance, offers you may find of interest, changes to our organisation, or new products or
services being offered by us or any company with whom we are associated.

If you wish to make any changes to your personal information, you may contact us. We will
generally rely on you to ensure the information we hold about you is accurate or complete.

Access and correction to your personal information
We will provide you with access to the personal information we hold about you. You may request

We may charge a fee for our costs of retrieving and supplying the information to you.
Depending on the type of request that you make we may respond to your request immediately,
otherwise we usually respond to you within seven days of receiving your request. We may need to
contact other entities to properly investigate your request.
There may be situations where we are not required to provide you with access to your personal
information, for example, if the information relates to existing or anticipated legal
proceedings, or if your request is vexatious.
An explanation will be provided to you if we deny you access to the personal information we hold
about you.If any of the personal information we hold about you is incorrect, inaccurate or out
of date you may request that we correct the information. If appropriate we will correct the
personal information. At the time of the request, otherwise, we will provide an initial response
to you within seven days of receiving your request. Where reasonable, and after our
investigation, we will provide you with details about whether we have corrected the personal
information within 30 days.
We may need to consult with other entities as part of our investigation.
If we refuse to correct personal information we will provide you with our reasons for not
correcting the information.
Using government identifiers
If we collect government identifiers, such as your tax file number, we do not use or disclose
this information other than required by law. We will never use a government identifier in order
to identify you.
Business without identifying you
In most circumstances it will be necessary for us to identify you in order to successfully do
business with you, however, where it is lawful and practicable to do so, we will offer you the
opportunity of doing business with us without providing us with personal information, for
example, if you make general inquiries about interest rates or current promotional offers.
Sensitive information
We will only collect sensitive information about you with your consent. Sensitive information is
personal information that includes information relating to your racial or ethnic origin,
political persuasion, memberships in trade or professional associations or trade unions, sexual
preferences, criminal record, or health.
How safe and secure is your personal information that we hold?

What is a credit guide?
A Credit Guide sets out important information about the services that we provide as a licensee
broker, any fees and commission payable to us, our responsible lending obligations and our
internal and external dispute resolution procedures and how you can access them.
We are required to provide this Credit Guide to you as soon as practical after it becomes
apparent that we are likely to provide credit assistance to you.
What is credit assistance?
We provide credit assistance when we:
- Suggest or assist you to apply for a particular credit contract with a particular credit
provider; or
- Suggest or assist you to apply for an increase to the credit limit of a particular credit
contract with a particular credit provider; or
- Suggest you remain in a particular credit contract with a particular credit provider.
Who will provide me with credit assistance?
Your credit assistance will be provided by one or more representatives of Your Lender Choice Pty
Ltd Trading as Yes Home Loans Group, ACL 502876.
Which credit providers do we utilise when providing credit assistance?
We source credit products from a range of banks, lenders and other credit providers.
How will I pay for the credit assistance provided?
The actual fee depends on the extent of work we need to undertake on your behalf and can range
up to a maximum of $2,500 (including GST). This fee will be payable at the time the funds are
released by the credit provider.
What information is required to receive credit assistance?
Before we provide you with credit assistance, we are required to complete a Preliminary
Assessment.
This preliminary assessment makes enquiries about:
- your requirements and objectives for seeking a credit product;
- your financial and relevant personal situation; and
- your repayment capacity.
We may also request documentation in order to verify the information contained in the
preliminary assessment, such as pay slips, letter of employment and bank statements.
What information is kept on my credit file and can I examine my file?
We maintain a record of your personal profile including details gathered as part of our
preliminary assessment. You are entitled to request a copy of our Preliminary Assessment, and we
must give you a copy if requested.
There is no charge for requesting or receiving a copy of the Preliminary Assessment:
- at any time during the first 2 years - we must provide it within 7 business days; or
- between 2 years and 7 years after it was conducted - we must provide it within 21 business
days.
We are committed to implementing and promoting a privacy policy, which will ensure the privacy
and security of your personal information.
Are commissions, fees or other benefits paid to Yes Home Loans Group by the credit provider?
When we provide you with credit assistance, we (or our directors, employees and authorised
credit representatives) receive commissions from the credit providers involved. We may receive
the following commissions when we provide credit assistance to you:
- Upfront Commission.
- Additional Commission depending on the total volume of business we place with the credit
provider.
We can provide, on request, a reasonable estimate of the commission, fees and benefits and how
they are calculated.
Are commissions paid by Yes Home Loans Group to other parties?
We may pay a referral fee to people or organisations that refer clients to us who receive credit
assistance from Yes Home Loans Group. All amounts paid to the referrer are from Yes Home Loans
Group's share of the commission and benefits. You won't pay any additional amount if we pay a
referral fee. A referral fee is only paid to the referrer by Yes Home Loans Group on settlement
of a loan. We can provide, on request, a reasonable estimate of the commission and how it is
calculated.
What is a suitability assessment?
By law, we must not provide you with credit assistance if the credit contract is unsuitable
for you. If unsuitable, we cannot:
- Suggest or assist you to apply for a particular credit contract with a particular credit
provider; or
- Suggest or assist you to apply for an increase to the credit limit of a particular credit
contract with a particular credit provider, or
- Suggest that you remain in your particular credit contract with your particular credit
provider.
When is a credit contract unsuitable?
A credit contract will be unsuitable if:
- It is likely that you will be unable to comply with the financial obligations under the
credit contract; or
- It is likely that you could only comply with the financial obligations with substantial
hardship (such as having to sell your principal place of residence); or
- It is likely that the credit contract will not meet your stated requirements or objectives.
We want to ensure that the credit products you select with us are not unsuitable for your needs.
Because of this, it is important that you openly and honestly discuss with us your requirements,
objectives, preferences, financial situation and repayment capacity.
What should I do if I have a complaint about my Representative?
If you have a complaint or concern about the service provided to you by your Authorised Credit
Representative, please contact their Complaints Resolution Manager. As part of the Internal
Dispute Resolution policy they will investigate the matter and endeavour to address it as
quickly as possible.
